Two Models for Tailored Expansion Needs
Harmony LExt is available in two versions to cater to the specific needs of audiophiles:
LExt PHONO: Designed for vinyl enthusiasts, LExt PHONO adds a dedicated phono input to the Harmony HP2A, allowing you to connect your turntable directly. This means you can enjoy the warmth and richness of your favorite vinyl records without needing an additional phono stage. Whether you are rediscovering your classic collection or diving into new pressings, the LExt PHONO is a perfect addition for an authentic analog experience.
LExt IN2: For those looking to enhance connectivity with other audio sources, LExt IN2 adds both a balanced XLR input and a single-ended RCA input to the HP2A. This makes it easier to connect a wider range of audio devices, including CD players, streamers, or other sources, offering more flexibility for your audio system while maintaining the highest quality of sound.
Seamless Integration with LE-LINK
LExt modules connect to the Harmony HP2A through LE-LINK, a proprietary connection designed to ensure flawless communication between components. LE-LINK offers a stable, interference-free connection that preserves audio quality and allows for easy plug-and-play expansion. The process of adding LExt is straightforward, making it accessible for users looking to upgrade their system without complications.
Premium Build Quality
Every LExt module is built to the same exacting standards as the Harmony HP2A, ensuring a consistent aesthetic and seamless integration. The modules are available in both black and silver finishes, allowing users to match their existing setup for a cohesive look. The high-quality build not only enhances durability but also ensures that the added components maintain the premium sound quality that Harmony is known for.
Simplicity and Versatility
To keep things straightforward, only one LExt module can be connected at a time. This approach helps maintain simplicity in operation while still providing significant versatility to expand your system. Users can choose the module that best suits their needs—whether adding a phono input for their turntable or additional line-level inputs for other sources—knowing that it integrates perfectly with their HP2A.
The Harmony LExt is a commitment to future-proofing your audio experience, offering expanded connectivity that keeps pace with your evolving listening preferences. Whether you’re an analog enthusiast or someone looking for more line-in options, LExt is the perfect companion to take your audio system to the next level.

Reviews
For those that listen to more than only digital, you need extra inputs. And this little box provides you with two extra inputs. One set of XLR and RCA's. Since I have a big turntable with 3 arms going to a Gold Note PH10+PS10 that has 2 inputs and two outputs I can use that for the XLR, and my tube EAR834 clone for the RCA. A perfect fit.
But what is most important: how does it work and how does it sound? It works in total unity with the HP2a. Use the remote, use the < > buttons and you see the extra inputs.
The sound is, well... The same. I can't tell the difference between inputs. A special mention to the RCA input: I played an LP with a very revealing MC cartridge, with a SUT to the tube phono and out to my HE1000V2 planar headphones. I was amazed how quiet, detailed and full it sounded without any stress or stridency. Also, I didn't detect any hum. This can sometimes be problematic with this tube phono amp.
One little downside: it is light and has 3 feet and with stiff XLR cables it is hard to place it level and lined out where you want it.
But, as you can see: a nice lineup in black and gold. When I made the bamboo rack I could not imagine it would fill out like this.
